Terms and Conditions

By installing or using Pickle Browser ("the software") you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
1. WHAT THE SOFTWARE DOES
Pickle Browser is a desktop web browser that can act on your behalf. When you
give it a task, it navigates, reads pages, clicks, types and fills forms in a
browser session that uses your own logins and cookies. You remain responsible
for everything done under your accounts.
2. AI OUTPUT IS NOT RELIABLE, AND SMALL MODELS ARE LESS RELIABLE STILL
The software uses AI models to interpret pages and decide what to do. AI output
is probabilistic and frequently wrong. It can misread a page, act on the wrong
item, cite a source that does not support the claim, or confidently produce an
answer that is simply incorrect.
This risk is substantially higher when you select a small local model. Small
models lose track of a goal over multiple steps and can research or act on the
wrong subject entirely. The software labels these models and warns you when one
is selected, and attaches a warning to reports they generate.
You must independently verify anything that matters before relying on it,
including any financial, legal, medical, travel, purchasing or safety decision.
Do not use the software as the sole basis for such a decision.
3. AUTOMATION RISK AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Automated browsing can produce unintended results: submitting a form, sending a
message, changing a setting, starting a purchase, or triggering rate limits or
account restrictions on third-party sites. Approval gates, pause controls and
audit logging are provided to reduce this risk, but they do not eliminate it and
may fail.
You are responsible for:
- The tasks you give the software and the actions it takes for you
- Complying with the terms of service of every site it visits, including any
rules on automated access, scraping or account sharing
- Complying with applicable law in your jurisdiction
- Supervising activity on accounts holding money, personal data or anything
else you cannot afford to have altered
Do not use the software to break into systems you do not control, to evade
security or access controls, to infringe intellectual property, or for any
unlawful purpose.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Model providers, search services and any connected agents are independent third
parties governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them
and are not responsible for their availability, output, pricing or handling of
data you send them. You are responsible for any charges you incur with them.
5. UPDATES AND VERSION CONTROLS
The software checks for updates and may download and install them. It also
includes a minimum supported version control: if a released version is found to
be unsafe or broken, we may mark it unsupported, and affected installations will
stop running until updated. This exists to protect users from known-bad builds.
6. NO WARRANTY
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any
kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits,
lost data, lost opportunities, unintended transactions, or account suspension,
arising from your use of the software. Our total aggregate liability is limited
to the greater of the amount you paid us for the software in the twelve months
before the claim, or ten US dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. CHANGES AND TERMINATION
We may update these terms, and the updated version ships with the corresponding
app version. Continuing to use the software after an update means you accept the
revised terms. You may stop using the software at any time by uninstalling it.
